Before you begin

  • A package with voice access and permission to configure it.
  • Check any displayed number, credit or call charge before testing.

Open the right workspace

  1. 1Sign in and open Dashboard.
  2. 2Choose Voice Agent from the dashboard navigation.
  3. 3If the item is not shown, ask an owner to check your access and the account package.

Configure and test

  1. 1Complete the setup controls shown for language, greeting, sector and conversation behaviour.
  2. 2Enable only the tools and business actions you intend the receptionist to use, including an escalation or handoff route only when your account displays one and your team has reviewed it.
  3. 3Connect reviewed knowledge, then save and confirm the setup state.
  4. 4Make one permitted test call using a question with a known answer and, if applicable, a handoff request. Review the call row, transcript, outcome and any follow-up or issue indicator.
  5. 5Compare the recorded outcome with what actually happened before enabling the receptionist for customer traffic.

How to know it worked

  • • The real call appears with an outcome that matches what happened during the test.

If something goes wrong

  • For a wrong answer or an incorrect escalation, correct the source knowledge or reviewed behaviour first and run a new controlled test.
  • For a failed or partial call, review the issue details and recorded outcome before changing number or provider settings.
  • If the problem remains, open Support and describe what you expected and what appeared.
